1. Where were you born? Phoenix, AZ. Oven mitts are highly recommended to keep in your car. Moved to Portland in 2015, and never looked back.

2. Where did you meet your significant other? Arizona Oktoberfest through a mutual friend. We got to talking about constellations while waiting in a 1/4-mile-long beer line.

3. What is your kiddo’s name and age? Luke Cordell Mullen. His middle name is my father’s middle name and he couldn’t be more proud. He is 14 months old.

4. What is your favorite invention? Portable breast pump. I couldn’t have kept nursing for as long as I did without it.

5. What do you love most about FIT4MOM classes? How supportive this village is. I feel like we’re always lifting each other up and bringing out the best in each other. Sometimes I need that little extra push to get a few more reps in or understanding when I’m just too exhausted to give it my all. Plus watching the interactions and friendships forming between the kiddos is an amazing added bonus!

6. What is your favorite exercise? Walking lunges, bicep curls, and I know it’s crazy but tricep extensions.

7. Fun fact about you? I used to be the Red Robin mascot and would go to Arizona Diamondback baseball games in the costume to play with the kiddos. I even won “unbridled act of the year” for the western region.
